Officially Mac User

Exactly a week ago, I finally had my first Macintosh in the form of a Macbook Pro powered with Intel Core Duo. I have been anxiously waiting for it and finally I had it. I just can't believe I already have it as early as now since I originally planned of buying a Macbook (not the Pro) past midyear.

Anyone would be so excited to have a Macbook Pro and so am I. It is simply incomparable - beauty, power, and elegance in one great device. You would be very proud of it surfing the web while chilling with coffee in cafes. Just no words to describe.

And I'll be using it full-time for development so as to eliminate the hassle of files transfers from PC and vice-versa since its purpose is flexibility and mobility for projects while on the go.

Stroke of luck? I don't think so.

I have been very busy these days. Plenty of projects are coming in. More request for quotations are still to be done. Is this luck? We'll kind of but not so.

When I was a kid, I grew up with a mindset of having a strong focus in life - a goal-oriented person. I am a shy type but my goals are very strong. The dreams of becoming successful and leaving a legacy that you want to leave. These are the foundation of what I become now - a person in the edge of success with almost just one more step of marking success from the family's difficult past. Success has many definitions. It varies from one's experience in life.

Have you seen the film called The Secret? It's about the law that governs all lives, and offers the knowledge of how to create - intentionally and effortlessly - a joyful life. It's true. Life is about attraction within your environment around you. It's about how you influence the things that revolve around you. And that's the reason why I have so many projects now.

You see, to be able get the future that you want - the success that you want, you have to start working within yourself and the people around you will be drawn from your greatness. As for me, if I want to continue earning more projects, I have to continue working hard and learning every new thing that relates to my career and business.

True success is not derived from luck, you earn it through hardwork.
